Airplane 3ds max tutorial – Modeling (part 2)

airplane tutorial 3ds max

Hey all

This is part two of our series about how to make an airplane in 3ds max.

We’re still in the modeling process, in this part I will continue modeling the plane body as well as the wings and those two things attached to them Open-mouthed smile.

Hope you like it and enjoy every part of it as this video is more than 45 min long.

Also you can download reference images from this link

Don’t forget (like) it and suggest it to your friends.

Dude, the part 2 is blocking at about 30%, probably the movie is big and your host slow maybe to cache it all. Try splitting it or host the file somewhere else, like vimeo.com maybe, that way it will work.
Thanks and good job you made there, nice tutorial !

    Hi!
I have a suggestion for the modeling of the cockpit’s window, would it not easier to create a shape from selection of interior edges and then transform it in edit poly to have only one face? I don’t know if it’s a good idea but it seems to be easier and cleaner… What do you think of it?

Man you need to use border selection then bridge to cap the turbines under the wings
